J&J: launches open, secure digital ecosystem

(CercleFinance.com) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech announces the launch of Polyphonic, an open and secure digital ecosystem designed to enable 'a more connected surgical experience'.


The first version, available to selected hospitals, includes applications for surgical video, telepresence and planning to improve collaboration and efficiency among surgical teams.

The focus is on the management and secure sharing of surgical videos to optimize workflows before, during and after operations.

Hospitals such as the Meander Medical Center in the Netherlands are currently testing the solution, says J&J.
