SLB: JV with Aker Carbon Capture

(CercleFinance.com) - SLB and Aker Carbon Capture (ACC) have entered into a joint venture to promote large-scale carbon capture in industry.


Based in Oslo and owned mainly by SLB (80%) and ACC ASA (20%), the company merges ACC's advanced carbon capture technologies with SLB's portfolio of technology solutions.

It currently oversees several projects capable of capturing up to 1 million tonnes of CO2 per year, supporting industrial decarbonization.

The JV says that it is proud of the carbon capture plants that it is delivering across a range of industries, with each customer an important leader in their segment. The successes of the projects we have delivered are paving the way for other customers.
