ExxonMobil selects future General Counsel

(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil announces the retirement of Craig Morford, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, effective July 1, 2024.


The Board of Directors has appointed Jeff Taylor as his successor. Taylor joined ExxonMobil in May 2024 from Fox Corporation, where he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Taylor brings a wealth of corporate governance and legal experience, having served as deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer at General Motors Co. and legal counsel for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.

Darren Woods, ExxonMobil's CEO and chairman, highlighted this 'unique blend of governance and legal expertise' and expressed his enthusiasm for working with him to continue advancing the company's strategic priorities.
