Toyota: the new Prius wins the 2024 eTrophy

(CercleFinance.com) - The Association des Médias Auto & Moto (AM-AM) awarded its third eTrophées at an evening event in Paris on June 6.


The awards, which recognize the best-performing electrified vehicles on the market, were presented by a panel of 25 automotive journalists following two days of testing and evaluation. At the end of these tests, the jury of the Association des Médias Auto & Moto awarded the eTrophée 2024 for the best plug-in hybrid to the new Toyota Prius.

Its 100% electric range of up to 86 km (WLTP combined cycle), thanks to a 13.6 kWh battery, enables zero-emission driving on most daily journeys. For longer journeys, or when recharging is not available, Toyota's next-generation plug-in hybrid system offers increased power and ultra-low WLTP combined cycle CO2 emissions of 12 g/km (full battery) - the lowest ever recorded with a Prius.

Since its launch in 2023, the new Toyota Prius has won numerous awards: Green Tech Prize at the Automobile Awards 2023, Style Prize at the Grand Prix Auto Moto 2023, Car of the Year 2024 in the USA and Canada, World Car Design of the Year 2024.
