PAI Partners: EU approves acquisition of Beautynova

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control of Italy-based Beautynova by Luxembourg-based PAI Partners and Bluegem Capital.


The transaction concerns the markets for the design and supply of hair care products for professional customers.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market position resulting from the proposed transaction. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger control procedure.
