Schneider Electric: partnership with IN-CORE Systèmes

(CercleFinance.com) - SchneiderElectric andAVEVA - presented as the 'world leader in industrial software and a player in digital transformation and sustainability' - today announced a partnership withIN-CORESystèmesto improve the efficiency of electric vehicle (EV) battery production.


The joint offering will link electrode-level parameters to final cell performance, and provide customers with a complete view of data to improve processes.

As the EV market continues to experience exponential growth, battery production is under increasing pressure to improve quality, efficiency and commercial and financial results, Schneider Electric points out.

In recent years, up to 20% of materials in EV battery production have been scrapped, and energy has been used inefficiently, with 47kWh needed to produce 1kWh of an EV battery cell.
