Derichebourg: H1 net income down 55%

733bn in H1, down 4.9% y-o-y. This decline was mainly due to the Recycling division (-5.5%), although was partially offset by an increase in sales in the Services to Public Sector business (+7.8%).

H1 EBITDA before non-recurring items came to E142m, down 20.8% on the previous year. Operating income recurring came to E65m, down 38.8% y-o-y. Pre-tax income came to E48.1m, down 51% on last year.

H1 2023-2024 net income for the consolidated group came to E32.3m, down 55.2% from last year.

A recurring EBITDA target of between E300m and E310m at year-end seems realistic in the current economic climate. Adjusted for the negative effects of H1, it would be between E315m and E330n, the group says.
