Gaussin: Metalliance, in receivership, is looking for a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Gaussin announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary Metalliance, placed in receivership ten days ago, was now looking for a buyer.


The logistics vehicle manufacturer said that Metalliance's receivers had launched a call for bids as part of a disposal plan, with a deadline for bids set for June 17.

Metalliance, a manufacturer of multi-service vehicles for underground works logistics, has been part of the Gaussin group since 2020, with a 97% stake.

However, the opening of a safeguard procedure recently paralyzed the assembly and delivery of vehicles from its Saint-Vallier site in Saône-et-Loire, forcing Gaussin to place itself under the protection of the commercial court.

As a reminder, Metalliance and its underground works activity generated sales of 23.3 million euros last year, equivalent to 65% of the group's consolidated sales.
