Holcim: builds sustainable cement plant in Belgium

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim announces that it has started building its GO4ZERO plant in Obourg, Belgium, which aims to produce 2 million tonnes of carbon-neutral cement per year by 2029.


This project, with an investment of over E500m, aims to advance decarbonisation in Europe.

This investment symbolises exactly the vision that our country has been pursuing for the past four years: to build a future for industry in Europe, with the highest standards in terms of innovation and CO2 targets. And this in a crucial area such as construction, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said.
