Coface: new CEO for the Mediterranean and Africa region

(CercleFinance.com) - Coface has announced two changes in its management of the Mediterranean and Africa region, with the appointments, effective July 1, of Ernesto de Martinis as General Manager for the region and Pietro Vargiu as Country Manager in Italy.


Based in Milan, Ernesto de Martinis will report to Xavier Durand, Coface's General Manager. He replaces Cécile Paillard, who will pursue her career outside the French credit insurance group.

Ernesto de Martinis has been country manager of Coface Italy since 2012. Under his leadership, this entity has become the leading contributor to the Group's sales, with a leading position in the credit insurance and bonding market.
