Mercedes-Benz: sales of the AMG GT 63 SE begin

(CercleFinance.com) - Mercedes-Benz reports that Mercedes-AMG has begun sales of its new top-of-the-range model, the AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupé, which is now available to order from partner dealers or online.


The AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is combined with an AMG electric drive unit to generate a combined output of 600 kW (816 hp) and maximum system torque of up to 1420 Nm.

The rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds is the fastest of any Mercedes-AMG production model", says the manufacturer, who also mentions a top speed of 320 km/h.
