Volvo: EU green light for joint venture with Westport
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the creation of a joint venture between Volvo and the Canadian firm, Westport Fuel Systems.
The transaction mainly concerns the development and sale of alternative fuel systems and components to the automotive industry. The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given that the joint venture has negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
