Mastercard: deployment of the Scam Protect suite

(CercleFinance.com) - Mastercard announces the deployment of Scam Protect, a suite of specialized solutions powered by cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, which help identify and prevent all types of fraud to protect consumers.


By combining its identity, biometrics, intelligence and open banking technologies, it helps combat the full range of scams, from card payments to account-to-account settlements to fraudulent account openings.

The credit card group adds that it is joining forces with players in the cybersecurity ecosystem, namely telecoms operator Verizon, financial authentication company Entersekt and the Global Anti-Scam Alliance, to combat fraud.
