Comcast: EPS up 14% in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast reports Q1 2024 adjusted EPS that is up 13.
9% at $1.04, despite fairly flat adjusted EBITDA (-0.6%) at $9.35bn, on revenues that inched up 1.2% to nearly $30.1bn.
Management said that it increased broadband ARPU by over 4%, sales in its connectivity business by 7%, and an adjusted EBITDA margin across the connectivity and platforms division as a whole.
It also highlights the dynamic cinema business, with hits such as Kung Fu Panda 4, as well as Peacock, one of the fastest-growing domestic streamers, with impressive acquisition, retention and engagement trends.
