Banca MPS: Barclays raises its price target

(CercleFinance.com) - Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) shares are up 3% in Milan today, boosted by upbeat comments from Barclays, which has confirmed its 'overweight' rating on the stock, having raised its target price for it from E4.
30 to E5.30, in a sector report.

The broker presents Banca MPS as its best picks amongst Italian banks, along with UniCredit. Confident about their forthcoming publications, it believes that positive fundamentals should continue to stimulate multiple revaluations.
