Verizon: Q1 EPS down 4%

(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon has reported EPS adjusted for special items of $1.
15 for Q1 2024, down 5 cents from $1.20 a year earlier, while its adjusted EBITDA rose around 2% to $12.1bn on pretty flat revenues (+0.2%) of $33bn.

Its wireless revenues rose by 3.3% to $19.5bn, which it says is mainly due to pricing actions in recent quarters, increased adoption of premium rate plans and growth in its fixed wireless subscriber base.

For FY 2024, the telecom operator still expects adjusted EPS of $4.50 to $4.70, adjusted EBITDA that is up 1% to 3%, and total wireless sales growth of 2% to 3.5%.
