Ramsay Santé: stock unhealthy after H1 net loss

(CercleFinance.com) - Ramsay Santé shares are down 10% following the publication of a net loss (group share) of E17.
3m for H1 ended December 2023, compared with a net profit of E43.9m for the same period last year.

EBITDA fell 9% to E284.6m, due to lower subsidies, the widening gap between tariff increases and inflation in its cost base, combined with constraints linked to staff shortages.

However, the private hospital group's sales rose by 7.3% to E2.37bn (+9.4% LFL), underpinned by business growth in all regions and by recent acquisitions.
