Uniper: expects much lower 2024 adjusted income

(CercleFinance.com) - Uniper has reported adjusted EBIT of E6,367m for FY 2023.
NB 2022 Adjusted EBIT was -E10,877m.

2023 adjusted net income was E4,432m. This is significantly higher than the previous year's figure of -E7,401m.

IFRS net income of E6,336m is significantly higher than the previous year's net loss of E19.144bn.

Uniper recorded a provision of around E2.2bn in its 2023 consolidated financial statements for an advance payment obligation to the Federal Republic of Germany in connection with the aid granted in 2022.

Uniper expects 2024 adjusted EBITDA to be significantly below the 2023 level, in a range of E1.5bn to E2bn. Adjusted net income is also expected to be significantly below the 2023 level, between E0.7bn and E1.1bn, it says.
