Fresenius MedCare: 2023 EPS up 4%

(CercleFinance.com) - Fresenius Medical Care reports adjusted 2023 EPS that is up 4% at E2.
58, as well as adjusted operating income of E1.74bn, up 15% at constant exchange rates, above the upper limit of its target range.

It highlights a "Successful execution on turnaround plan resulting in significant labor productivity improvements in Care Delivery and positive pricing in Care Enablement".

At almost E19.5bn, sales of the German dialysis specialist were flat on a reported basis, but rose by 5% at constant exchange rates, driven by favourable business trends.

A dividend of E1.19 per share will be proposed for the past year. For 2024, management forecasts continued growth in sales and accelerated growth in operating income.
