Northrop Grumman: loss in Q4
(CercleFinance.com) - Northrop Grumman reports a net loss of $3.
54 per share for Q4 2023 (versus EPS of $13.46 a year earlier), weighed on by a pre-tax charge of $1.56bn related to a contract won from the US Air Force in 2015.
At over $10.6bn, revenues rose 6% thanks to the aeronautical (+6%) and space (+10%) systems divisions, while its order backlog grew to $84.2bn by the end of 2023.
Northrop Grumman is targeting adjusted EPS of between $24.45 and $24.85 for 2024, as well as sales of between $40.8bn and $41.2bn, compared with $13.53bn and $39.3bn respectively for the previous year.
