Entech: court gives go-ahead for Sabella takeover

(CercleFinance.com) - Entech has announced that it has obtained the agreement of the Quimper Commercial Court to take over all the employees and part of the assets of Sabella, which has been in receivership since October 22, 2023.


Entech is thus taking over Sabella's 19 employees, as well as the intellectual property comprising 81 patents and certain assets ensuring the maintenance of know-how.

According to Entech, the collaboration of the design and production teams in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanics, fluidics, automation and IT will strengthen the company's ability to win and carry out ambitious projects in an expanded market.

Our ambition is to develop a long-term presence in the marine renewable energies segment by reorienting Sabella's technologies and know-how towards Entech's model as a manufacturer of production systems", said Christopher Franquet, Chairman and CEO of Entech.
