Macquarie: EU approves creation of joint venture

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the creation of a joint venture by RHP Partners-Managers GP, Macquarie Real Estate Investments Holdings and UBS Group AG.


The transaction mainly concerns investments in real estate assets in the United States.

The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, as the joint venture will have no activities in the European Economic Area.
