Mercedes: creation of an electric network with BMW in China
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW and Mercedes-Benz to jointly install a high-power charging network in China
The two groups have signed an agreement to create a 50/50 joint venture in China to operate a high-power charging network and provide Chinese customers with premium charging services. The joint venture aims to establish a network of at least 1,000 high-power charging stations with around 7,000 high-power charging points by the end of 2026. The first stations are expected to open by 2024 in the main regions, with further stations to be installed throughout the country.
