Spie: acquisition in industrial services in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire Munich-based ROBUR Industry Service Group, enabling it to establish a strategic position in the German industrial services market, where Spie had little presence until now.


With its 2.600 highly qualified employees and estimated sales of around 380 million euros in 2023, the company in question is achieving strong organic growth and has an EBITA margin in the high single-digit range.

The transaction multiple is 9.5 times the expected EBITA in 2023. Spie expects to finalize this acquisition in the first quarter of 2024, subject to the usual conditions precedent, including approval by the competition authorities.
