Philips unveils several new products at RSNA conference

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, at the annual meeting of the North American Society of Radiology (RSNA), Philips unveiled a series of new products featuring artificial intelligence (AI).


The Dutch healthcare equipment manufacturer - which points out that 45% of radiologists today suffer from burnout symptoms - unveiled its latest Epiq and Affiniti ultrasound systems.

The group also presented the first MRI to operate without helium, which should reduce the risk of potentially lengthy and costly breakdowns and end dependence on a raw material whose availability is unpredictable.

Philips also announced the integration of new cloud- and AI-related functionalities for its HealthSuite imaging platform and its Philips Vue PACS medical image sharing solution.

Also to be highlighted at RSNA are the latest models in its range of high-end radiotherapy equipment, the Philips Radiography 7000 M and Radiography 7300 C.
