Take-Two: net loss more than doubles in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening, Take-Two Interactive reported a net loss of $543.
6m for Q2 2023-24 (or $3.20 per share), compared with a loss of $257m (or $1.54 dollars per share) a year earlier. NB: pmt +2.7%.

Revenues for the video games publisher, which operates the "NBA", "Grand Theft Auto" and "Red Dead" franchises, contracted by 7% to $1.3bn, while its net bookings fell by 4% to $1.44bn.

Although it expects macroeconomic uncertainty to persist, Take-Two believes that it is well positioned for the holiday season and reiterates its forecast for net bookings for FY 2023-24 of between $5.45bn and $5.55bn.
