DHL Group: tightens down EBIT target range
(CercleFinance.com) - On its earnings call, DHL Group announced that it had tightened down its 2023 EBIT target range to between E6.
2bn and E6.6bn (vs. E6.2bn to E7bn). The German mail and logistics group says that the scenario of a broad recovery in the middle of the year failed to materialise, only leaving the prospect of a late recovery or no recovery at all this year. Q3 EPS slumped 32.7% to E0.68, while EBIT fell in similar proportions (-32.4%) to E1.37bn, on revenues that dropped 19.3% to E19.4bn due to the economic environment and the normalisation of freight markets.
