Disney: appoints new CFO

(CercleFinance.com) - Walt Disney announces the appointment of Hugh F Johnston as senior executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) effective from 4 December, a position in which he will report directly to CEO Robert A Iger.


Hugh Johnston will join the media and entertainment group after serving as vice chairman and CFO of food and beverage group PepsiCo, where he held numerous top management positions during his 34-year career.

As CFO of Disney, he will lead its global finance organization, including oversight of financial planning and analysis, investor relations, risk management, tax and treasury.
