Mercedes-Benz: in-car digital payment now available

(CercleFinance.com) - Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with Mastercard to enable payment at the gas pump by fingerprint directly in the car.
Fingerprint payment is made directly in the car with Mercedes pay+.

Customers will be able to use a fingerprint sensor in their car to make secure digital payments at over 3,600 service stations in Germany.

Note that Mercedes-Benz is the first carmaker in the world to integrate Mastercard Secure Card on File for Commerce Platforms technology into its vehicles for online payments.
