29 billion Swiss francs, up 3.6% (+8.1% in local currencies) for the first nine months of its 2022-23, against a 2.7% decline in sales volume, in a difficult market environment.
Management said that a continuing inflationary environment has affected customer demand. Its volume was in line with the underlying decline in the confectionery chocolate market, excluding the residual effects of the incident at the Wieze site.
The Swiss chocolate maker added that it was continuing its efforts to achieve stable volume growth for FY 2022-23 and remains confident of achieving a solid operating profit.
