IDI: acquires 90% of Prévost Laboratory Concept
(CercleFinance.com) - IDI announced on Thursday that it had signed agreements to acquire a majority stake of around 90% in Prévost Laboratory Concept, a manufacturer of cosmetics and dietary supplements.
The private equity specialist explains that intends to make Prévost, a company founded in 1992, an "active platform" for the consolidation of its market. The family-owned SME, based in Ille-et-Vilaine, has enjoyed strong annual growth of around 15% since it was taken over three years ago by the Abenex investment fund. The company expects to achieve sales of almost E15m this year. The acquisition, IDI's third investment since the beginning of the year, should be completed in the coming weeks.
