Dufry: S&P Global Ratings upgrades credit rating
(CercleFinance.com) - Transit zone retailer Dufry says that S&P Global Ratings has upgraded its credit rating to "BB-" with a "positive" CreditWatch, following the release of its 2022 results and the successful closing of its merger with Autogrill.
The agency highlights Dufry's strong business performance on the back of the recovery seen in air travel, its solid liquidity position and the logics behind its merger with Autogrill, which it expects will improve the group's economies of scale and diversification. S&P has added that its positive CreditWatch suggests further potential upgrades in the future, after the completion of the mandatory takeover bid for Autogrill and with the final capital structure in place.
