Alphabet: Q4 EPS falls nearly a third
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday night Alphabet unveiled net income of just over 13.
6 billion dollars for Q4 2022, with EPS that is down 31% to $1.05, and a 5-point decline in its operating margin to 24%. The tech giant, parent company of the search engine Google and the platform YouTube, posted revenues that inched up only 1% (+7% at constant exchange rates) to just over 76 billion dollars, mainly supported by Google Cloud. The company said it is conducting significant ongoing work to improve all aspects of its cost structure, supporting investments in its highest growth priorities, to achieve long-term profitable growth.
