Bekaert: 9m sales up 22%

(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian industrial group Bekaert has reported 9m 2022 sales of 4.
34 billion euros, up 21.8%, despite lower volumes in most business areas.

"The strong price realization and the structural improvements of the Group's business portfolio clearly demonstrate the progress made in delivering on strategic transformation priorities and becoming more resilient," it said.

"Whilst the outlook remains uncertain and fast changing," Bekaert currently expects "Consolidated sales of approximately E 5.7 billion" and "underlying EBIT is expected to be in the range of E 450-460 million".
