Ackermans: record result and dividend increase

(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian conglomerate Ackermans & van Haaren has announced a record result of 407 million euros for FY 2021, and will propose to its general meeting to increase its dividend by 17% to 2.
75 euros per share.

Banks remained the group's main profit generator, thanks to a record inflow of nearly 5.6 billion euros, while hydraulic works subsidiary DEME recorded a record order backlog of 5.9 billion euros.

The company also said that thanks to the sale of Manuchar, which it expects to complete in Q2 2022, AvH will have over 200 million euros in cash to continue investing in a more sustainable and digital world.
