Alstom: to supply 16 trains to Transdev

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom and Transdev today began a contract for the supply of 16 8-carriage trains for the Marseille-Toulon-Nice line, which Transdev will operate from the summer of 2025.


This order, worth approximately 250 million euros, also includes maintenance support for the trains for 10 years. Delivery of the new equipment, manufactured at Alstom's Crespin site, will begin at the end of 2024.

These proven, comfortable trains are capable of running at 200 km/h; their long-term operational efficiency will be ensured by Alstom's maintenance support.
