Heineken: names first chief digital and technology officer
(CercleFinance.com) - Heineken appointed Ronald den Elzen as its first chief digital and technology officer on Wednesday, as the Dutch brewer is seeking to make consumers and employees digitally interact with its brands.
The company - which aims to become "the world's most connected brewer" - said Elzen most recently served as managing director of Heineken USA, after joining the group 25 years ago.
Heineken also said that Marc Gross will retire as chief supply chain officer in April, succeeded by Magne Setnes, the current general manager of Brau Union, its business in Austria.
