Wärtsilä: stock up sharply, helped by upgrade
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish ship and power plant engine manufacturer Wärtsilä saw its shares jump over 3% in Helsinki today after analysts at UBS upgraded their rating on the stock.
Seeing a "window of opportunity," the broker has raised its recommendation from "neutral" to "buy," setting a new target price of 22 euros, up from 20 euros previously).
In a research note, UBS says it sees the stock's recent correction as "an attractive opportunity to get exposure to a high-quality investment case in the sector."
The share is up 3.4% at 18.3 euros in morning trading today after this upgrade.
Wärtsilä will publish its first-quarter results on 24 April.
