Visa: Q3 EPS up a third

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Visa reported Q3 2021-22 adjusted earnings that are up 29% at 4.
2 billion dollars, or 1.98 dollar per share (+33%), on revenue that increased 19% to 7.3 billion dollars.

In particular, the payment solutions group reported a 40% jump in cross-border volumes (+48% excluding transactions within Europe), while the total number of transactions processed rose by 16%.

Management said that consumers are hitting the road again, and travelling more once again, resulting in cross-border travel volumes surpassing 2019 levels for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

The Visa share is slightly negative (about -0.2%) in pre-market trading today.
