J&J: MONARCH QUEST tool approved in the USA

(CercleFinance.com) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech announced last night that it had obtained 510(k) clearance in the United States for MONARCH QUEST, an advancement of its MONARCH navigation system incorporating AI algorithms and an interface with the GE HealthCare OEC 3D imaging system.


MONARCH QUEST improves the accuracy of robot-assisted bronchoscopy, a fast-growing segment for lung cancer diagnosis, by facilitating access to hard-to-reach nodules.

This tool is based on NVIDIA's accelerated computing power and is integrated into the Polyphonic digital ecosystem.

This innovation is expected to improve the accuracy and speed of diagnosis.
