Ford: new targets set after strike
(CercleFinance.com) - After having withdrawn its targets due to the UAW strike, Ford now anticipates adjusted EBIT of $10 to $10.
5 billion and adjusted free cash flow of $5 to $5.5 billion for the full year.
"As U.S. operations have restarted, the targets reflect the effects of the strike, which led to manufacturing disruptions", says the automaker, citing a $1.7 billion shortfall in adjusted EBIT.
The Dearborn, Michigan-based group recalls that it generated $4.9 billion in net income and $9.4 billion in adjusted EBIT over the first three quarters of 2023, before the full effect of the work disruptions at its US sites.
