Chevron: capital budget for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Chevron reports a range of expected organic capex for 2024 of $15.
5bn to $16.5bn for consolidated subsidiaries, with affiliate capex of around $3bn.

Upstream expenditure is expected to be around $14bn and downstream $1.5bn, of which respectively two-thirds and 80% will be allocated to the US - notably for the Permian Basin development.

The upstream and downstream budgets include around $2bn to reduce the carbon intensity of traditional activities and to develop new activities in the energy sector.
