Apple: increased dividend and share buyback program

(CercleFinance.com) - On the publication of its Q2 results on Thursday evening, Apple announced a 4% increase in its dividend to $0.
25 per share, as well as an additional share buyback program of up to $110bn.

The technology firm reported EPS of $1.53 for the three months to end-March, a record for this time of year, with sales falling 4% to $90.8bn, but better than expected thanks to record service revenues.

Thanks to very high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, our active installed base of devices reached a new all-time record for all products and geographical segments, says CFO Luca Maestri.
