Alibaba: announces IPO price

(CercleFinance.com) - Alibaba today announced the pricing of the total placement of 500 million ordinary shares which include an international placement and a public call for saving in Hong Kong.


The final offer price for the international offer and for the public offer in Hong Kong has been set at $176 HK dollars (about 20.3 euros) per share.

The gross proceeds from the global placement, before deduction of subscription fees and investment expenses are expected to reach approximately 88 billion HK dollars (about 10.15 billion euros).

The group has granted a greenshoe option up to 75 million additional new shares at the offer price.
