Technip Energies: creates the company Reju

(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announces the creation of Reju, an innovative company that will design new solutions for the regeneration of plastic fibers contained in large quantities in textiles that are not recycled and which end up as waste.


Based on an innovative technology developed in partnership between IBM, Under Armour and Technip Energies, Reju will address the fast-growing global market for polyethylene terephthalate in textiles (rPET).

Patrik Frisk, former Managing Director of Under Armour, will head up Reju alongside Alain Poincheval, as COO, who joins from Technip Energies. An industrial demonstrator is set to be commissioned in 2024.
