Ferrari: surprise transfer, Hamilton joins the Scuderia

(CercleFinance.com) - Scuderia Ferrari sprang a surprise last night when it announced that seven-time British world champion Lewis Hamilton would be joining its ranks from 2025.


This unexpected transfer took the specialists by surprise, especially as Lewis Hamilton had recently extended his contract with Mercedes.

The Briton will team up with Monegasque Charles Leclerc from 2025, and has signed a multi-year contract with the Prancing Horse.

This duo will attempt to regain the world title that has eluded the Ferrari drivers since 2007, and the team as manufacturer since 2008.

Between the announcement of its results and this surprise transfer, Ferrari shares gained over 9% yesterday in Milan.
