Airbus: launches Pléiades Neo Next program

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the launch of the Pléiades Neo Next program to extend its very high-resolution Earth observation constellation, a new program that will result in new satellite assets and capabilities, including enhanced native resolution.


This program, financed, built and operated by Airbus Defence and Space, will offer a comprehensive imaging capability available to a wide range of sectors, from defense and the environment to mapping and agriculture.

As a first step, Airbus is developing a new satellite to be launched in the next few years. Together, the Pleiades Neo and Pleiades Neo Next satellites will offer more frequent coverage of the Earth.
