Airbus: Stifel reiterates buy rating, TP E140

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Stifel reiterated its buy rating on Airbus, even after the aircraft manufacturer abandoned its delivery targets for 2022.


In a reaction note, the analyst mentions a moderately unfavourable element which, it says, has the merit of removing an overhang that was weighing on the stock, resetting the counters to zero as 2023 approaches.

The broker stresses that its investment case for Airbus remains unchanged, with it believing that the group is still benefiting from the recovery in air traffic, its strong market position and the recovery in its cash flow.

Stifel - which recommends that investors exploit any weakness in the share price - therefore maintains its target price of 140 euros, which gives it upside potential of 28%.
