ArcelorMittal: MoU with Petrobras in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ArcelorMittal Brasil and Petrobras to explore potential mutually beneficial business models in the low-carbon economy.


The companies will seek to identify potential business opportunities and partnerships in Brazil that match their diversification and decarbonization strategies.

This wide-ranging cooperation stems from synergies identified in a joint study aimed at developing a CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) cluster in the state of Espírito Santo, as well as evaluating business models that make its implementation economically viable.
