Toyota: develops SUV with Suzuki for India

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota and Suzuki, which have been business allies since 2017, notably in electrification technologies and compact vehicles, have announced the production of a new SUV model that is first intended for the Indian market, before being exported to markets outside India - particularly Africa.


The SUV will be offered in India with two engines: a mild hybrid engine developed by Suzuki and a powerful hybrid developed by Toyota.

By joining forces through this collaboration, both companies will be able to provide a wide variety of technologies to customers and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in India.
